Everything I want to put into the title wouldn't fit

Today was the Carven trunk show at Barney's Chicago, COMPLETE WITH GUILLAUME HENRY AND SIMON DOONAN.
After catching the 3:30 train from leaving school at 3:20 (biggest accomplishment of my life) we took this cab with the nicest cab driver who sang along to Cyndi Lauper on the radio.
Anyway. It was was one of those go to bed tired and your feet kind of hurt but in a good way because you feel inspired and awesome and like you really did something and you can't wait to wake up the next morning type things.
I really like Carven. *Cliché time!* It's classic with a twist. There was a cable knit sweater with holes in the middle of each "knot". A polo dress with the back cut out in the shape of an eye. Also voluminous culottes, cropped wide-necked jackets with the pockets peeking out like denim shorts, and the awesome shoes with the bows on the ankles.
Monsieur Henry was someone I would want as my best friend, and Mr. Doonan was even more spectacular than the Cranky Elf! He asked me about my illustration heros and I blanked and.... I accidentally said I liked Antonio instead of Tony Viramontes, even though they don't sound similar at all, and I had already said I didn't like Antonio...
And I got to speak French with Mr. Henry.

These are kind of how I feel at the moment. Interpret loosely.
Sorry I keep using Amélie and The Virgin Suicides, they're just so GOOD.
