Jil Sander was another collection that was authentically new. I love the Yves Saint Laurent couture-esque feel mixed with the minimalism and the white t-shirts (which were not cliché, like they can be). Those skirts are like candy, only more snuggly. It's one of those collections that you look at and think "this is fashion." How cool is it that Raf Simons threw such a surprise into the mix. Who would have thought to mix minimalism and couture era heyday? Everyone was probably expecting another bleak black thing and he was like "hahahah! Psych!"
