A random sprouting of menswear

I don't usually post about men's fashion, but a couple things have taken a hold of me lately so bear with me.
1) I saw these two quality brosefs at the Met (more on the Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations exhibit later). Their style is off the hook. It baffles me to such depths that most guys have no style and are content to look like crap a lot of the time. The guys at my school wear oversized basketball shorts, shoes, and shirts, with these long socks. They think they look cool because they don't care how they look, so obviously they're super manly. Go figure.

Anyway, rant aside. These broskis have awesome style/attitude, and I sincerely hope menswear starts taking this turn (a Rick Owens type turn) more and more because it's new and exciting and cool.

2) Which brings me to my next point: how much I love Raf Simons. His work is genuinely exciting, new, and beautiful. Check out his sick website.  I really don't know how you get cooler than this guy.

3) And on a more classic note, here's my dad looking super dapper. He's the opposite of the above looks, he is a bespoke men's tailor who makes beautiful, classic suits entirely by hand. Also, this is a wonderful Lanvin menswear collection.
