"I will bring you down baby, I will bring you down to Chinatown"

This is awesome because:
1. Of the different ways it was distributed. There are the interview videos like this one, a summary video and individual instructional videos on various self defense situations, and a print editorial in V Mag.
2. It is a practical problem that Nick Knight took and made a shoot. It started unglamorous, about his kids and their safety, and he didn't care and moved it into awesome territory.
3. It addresses that whole "she was asking for it" thing, which is completely ridiculous. But it acknowledges that not everyone thinks it is, so it still provides for the worst.
4. "Don't act like a victim, take control and protect yourselves"
5. It's educational... (SHOWstudio, the channel parents love).
6. The styling is perfect, realistic yet interesting, "Just style the best pieces of the season like she's going out." Even the attacker is well dressed.
7. It puts the clothes in a real context versus just in a photo studio, which is unusual. There's an emphasis on the tactile aspect of clothes, the construction, because of it's focus on movement and how they work in everyday life.
8. The model, Lara Stone, got really into it and attacking the actor and it was amusing somehow. It was fascinating to watch a beautiful, made-up model in a highly produced shoot..beating someone up.
9. Of course it's well done
