Wish the piece was in Futura too

In graphic design we had this project for our typography unit to take quote or lyric and use typography to make it more visually interesting. I chose John Galliano’s “It's our job to make people dream”. That’s what life is about. Dreams, art, other people, all that jazz. It’s one of those things that every time I hear or see him say it the little voice my head (yeah, the one positive thing it ever says, right?) is like “Woah, that’s serious and important.” And even though it looks like it, it doesn’t have a surfer dude accent.

The face is based on the PAT MCGRATH makeup at the S/S 2011 Dior Haute Couture show.

The reason this post is in Futura is because one of my favorite directors, Wes Anderson, appears to be obsessed with it and uses it in all his movies. As a creepy tribute to him it’s making a cameo.
